If you're new to UV DTF decals, the application process might take a bit of getting used to 😉. But take it slow, test first, and you'll do just fine!

A Few Basic Rules First:
Place your UV DTF transfer face up on a flat surface and rub it gently with a squeegee.
Lift a small corner of the clear carrier sheet and bend a small corner of the white backing.
Then flip the transfer over and start peeling the backing away slowly — do NOT peel up; instead, peel away, keeping the white backing close to the work surface.
Always peel off the white backing, never the clear transfer sheet, to improve your chances of successfully removing the transfer from the carrier sheet. Otherwise, the transfer may stay stuck to the backing or even tear.

Here’s another video showing how to apply a small single transfer onto a tumbler:
Before You Start Applying the Full Wrap on a Glass Can, Remember:
Avoid using sublimation glass cans, as the wrap may not stick well or could pull off the sublimation coating.
Skip alcohol-based cleaners since they can break down the adhesive. Instead, wash your cup with soapy water and let it dry completely.
Once the adhesive touches the surface during application, it’s not removable or adjustable — it’s pretty strong!
Step 1:
Wash your cup with soap and make sure it’s completely dry. Avoid alcohol as it breaks down the adhesive. Ensure the surface is free of dust and debris. Trim any excess clear carrier sheet around the design before applying to prevent overlapping. Wash your hands and avoid using hand lotion before applying the decal.
Step 2:
Peel back about an inch of the backing on one side, then use scissors to cut off ½ inch of the backing, exposing the adhesive. Carefully wrap the decal around your cup using the unexposed part, being careful not to stick the exposed adhesive to the glass. Once you’re happy with the placement, gently press down the exposed ½ inch of adhesive to secure the transfer. Place the cup on a flat surface—or for better results, use our silicone cradle. Then, as you rotate the cup, begin peeling off the backing and pressing the decal onto the glass. After application, firmly press the decal with your palm, using your body temperature to activate the adhesive. This makes peeling easier later and reduces lifting. You can also use a hairdryer on low heat to help. Finish by squeegeeing firmly over the design.
Step 3:
Slowly peel off the clear carrier sheet from the decal, making sure not to stretch or tear the transfer. If any part lifts as you peel, push it back down and rub with your finger before continuing.
Step 4:
Use your fingers or the soft side of a squeegee to smooth out the decal, starting from the center and working outward. Apply firm pressure to seal the edges.
Step 5:
Don’t wash or use the finished project for 24–48 hours to allow the adhesive to cure fully.
